I dont see that we have a crime problem. We have a law problem. We are afraid to stand up to people and tell them they are wrong. Usually it is because they are part of a larger group, and we dont want to offend… It is easier to prosecute the guy that choked out a mentally ill attacker on the subway, than to prosecute the attacker himself. The solution is simple. Lock people up when they get in trouble. Commit them to hospitals when they are mentally ill, or addicted to strong narcotics or cant provide for there own care. We as a country are afraid of the solution.
I think only half the nation is scared of the solution. The lib side.
A lot of the violence could be slowed drastically with long prison sentences.
Get them off the streets.

Some of these thieves and carjackers wear gloves with small spikes on the palms. They go through glass like nothing. So if you’re in traffic, your window is of no use.

Good point. Clearly the high crime rate in DC is caused by the actions of Trump supporters. What other group of people could possibly be responsible for these crimes?

Do any of yall remember the 70s and 80s? Many cities were truly pretty rough with lots of crime and gang violence. Its crazy different from those days.
