And I agree with Rubio philosophically and practically. I also agree with him that Florida hasn’t crossed the line, but only appears on the verge. Ending that special district was a good idea. Having it happen in the middle of a political feud creates a bad impression.
It’s not on the order of trying to have the government agencies change investing rules so that ESG can be used by powerful financiers to control values in the country.

Rick Scott is playing both sides of the fence. Disney is not losing business because the Florida state legislature put a bill the Governor supported and signed prohibiting CRT or indoctrinating young children into their gender identity.
If Disney loses business it’s because they’re foolish to not pay attention to what their customers do or do not want to hear.
Disney’s self rule needed to go. Why should Disney as a corporation not pay their share of taxes? Other corporations in Florida do.

Well, the staff was transferring from California. A lot of them were already there and they already did the groundbreaking. They are just transferring them back to California, Newsom gave the returning employees a welcome home post.
