It’s not 90%, but tax rates dropping by 1/5th is pretty large. Especially when that tax rate is affecting far more people today than it did in 1950. That’s a large chunk of tax revenue that’s not being generated. Think of all the good things the government could do with that money.

Insurance companies, drug companies – they’ll get a seat at the table, they just won’t be able to buy every chair. There’s something to be said about good infrastructure, good schools, good services, etc.
