Speaking as a former republican and Never Trumper who can find many reasons to like President Trump, even though the good doesn’t outweigh the bad, I feel sorry for President Trump tonight. Watching him sway back in forth in the wind, the wince when he pocketed his mask, makes me sympathetic because I see a wounded man. It reminded me of how John McCain looked when the markets tanked in Oct while he was leading in the polls against Obama. McCain bet his lifelong dream on a strategy of pausing his campaign to fix the economy. It failed.

President Trump is betting his health and his life to continue to be President, and I admire that a little bit. I think it is dumb, but I have been wrong before.

I honestly pray President Trump does not martyr himself to prove a point, and he gets some rest.

I simply said they released it, not that they manufactured it. They took steps to limited it’s spread out of Wuhan within China while continuing to export it internationally out of Wuhan. They deliberately maximised it’s international spread to damage rival economies.
