I know all of this and I know that makes you believe he’s been “tough” on Russia.

Laughably.

But he’s making the same mistakes starting with Helsinki…thinking he can “charm” Putin into better behavior.

He’ll learn the same lessons Bush and Obama learned.

And as for not allowing Russia to take Crimea…he’s running the danger of a similar “Crimea” happening by dissing NATO members like Montenegro and reducing confidence he’d assist them if attacked.

PS By the way…hinting that he’d even consider allowing Russian authorities to question our citizens is as bad as anything Obama or Bush did.

Considering how Russia has a history of using Western law enforcement and security institutions for chasing down political opponents AND that Putin has ordered assassinations of opponents in Western nations.

That was horrifying.
