Yes but it was discontinued when we kicked the Brits out during the American Revolution, 1776. It continued in Australia till the 1800s, about 1868.

I already did, if, it involves aggravated assault or battery. Next

And ?

first you wanted to make a production out of Brit usin the Americas as a penal colony and i affirmed that they abused the Americas till the Revolution. then you wanted to talk about affray being a felony, and I did. then you wanted to be evasive. go play games with you friends. come back when you want to swim in the adult section of the pool. Are you really an Aussie, or a wannabe Aussie? I am curious, Mate, because your reasoning is different than most Aussies I know,

I spent some time in the pubs of Western Australia.

Why do you get to determine who’s an Aussie?

I did not determine anything, I simply asked nicely if he is or is not.

I can still ask questions here. I was not derogatory, disrespectful and did not insult the poster.

@mobulis, read my post agains and ponder what I am saying. Is this another “circle the wagons?”. I would read our whole discussion about the Aussie - American penal colonies

I found it hilarious the question about whether I was an Aussie or not. Just checked my birth certificate and it confirmed what I already knew.

Where were you born and where did you grow up (keep it general). What is your favorite food during your formulative years. What was your favorite TV show?

I doubt whether those questions are within the ToS of this site.

For all I know you were stationed at Alice Hot Springs and fell in love with Australia.

I actually fell in love with Australia when I arrived in Perth the first time. Australia is a beautiful country. The people are really nice. I really like the parks of Sidney, too, and the fruit bats in the trees.

Where is Sidney? Did you perchance mean the capital of NSW Sydney?

I have been on the east coast and west coast of Australia and have been on the North coast and south coast too. I have fond memories and hope to visit again.

Bro, I am an American, born and raised here. I may talk a little crude from time to time and am rather casual in conversations. Sydney is Sydney to me. Fremantle is Fremantle (hope I spelled it right)

Yes you got the spelling of Freo correct. It is highly amusing that you think I am not an Aussie.

It it higly amusing if you are or are not.

Parts if Fremantle remind me if San Diego in the early 1970s. Nice city

Which year were you in Freo?

Late 90s, early 2000s. Be it has grown since then

Ah that explains it. Freo had a major renovation as a result of Australia’s America’s Cup win in preparation of holding the next America’s Cup there.

Are the residential areas still the same?
