I have thought about what it is with Trump that brings out such a negative response and I just don’t understand it.

I cannot get a policy or personal explanation that matches the level of vitriol directed his way.

The only reason and way I can reconcile this is that it is about pure power and control and the DC established class will not let Trump gain entry to the class.

Even after Bush and the FLA debacle, and his - IMO - disastrous presidency , I had no problem at all respecting the POTUS, and enjoyed debating republicans and conservatives…

But Trump…well, I don’t care for:

• Pathological liars
• Braggarts
• ■■■■■ grabbers
• Idiots who think remembering 5 words makes them smart
• People who insult good people

So, you know, I really don’t like people like that in my Oval Office.

It’s not really more complicated than that.

I didn’t mind when a good person with who I differ on policy occupies the office. I do mind when people like trump do it.

What I see is pathological liar…all politicians…trump has somehow been consistent and kept more campaign promises than any other President. Biden has scrambled to change almost all of his policy positions since Monday…fracking…masks…police…riots…taxes.

The 5 words thing is not in context. Trump does have a higher IQ than he gets credit for. Certainly smarter than either Bush President, Clinton, or Obama.

Everyone gets and gives insults…good…bad…indifferent. Trump is just good at it and he gets plenty back.

I was no fan of Obama policy, yet I never felt any vitriol or anger towards him…I still don’t understand the Trump angst. He will be gone from the office in 2024 at the latest, or sooner…perhaps.

But I will offer that my post is an abbreviated description of Trump’s qualities that lead to my disdain.

And this further list is not comprehensive. But I suggest the ‘all politicians do it’ line of reasoning is not accurate. Sure, every political lies occasionally. Sure, they have indiscretions. Sure they are occasionally rude.

But not with teh frequency and glee of Trump.

• Insulting a gold star family - that would have sunk any other candidate.
• Insulting a war hero, while he himself is obvious a draft dodger.
• Meagan kelly menstration comments
• Suggesting Tedd Cruz’s father killed JFK
• Calling Cruz’s wife ugly
• Calling his accusers ugly
• Abusing his charity to teh point he is no longer legally allowed to run one…again, any other candidate…done
• how many rape accusations? 14? I forget
• You mentioned accomplishments…Mexico paying for the wall?
• Health care bill on day one?

And there are dozens of others…I’m just too tired to go on really…

Trump is a uniquely terrible person who lies to everyone, his supporters most noticeably.
