Well you know what they say about politicians, good actors who are too ugly for tv or movies. Not an absolute rule of course before someone posts a really attractive one.

He had the same power any president has, and the cliche is that the US president is the most powerful person in the world.

Then why does Biden keep worrying he is going to get into trouble?

What makes you say he’s worried about getting in trouble? Having a lot of power doesn’t equal immunity from all attacks. The president isn’t a totalitarian. (Yet.)

Because he keeps saying it?

You mean when he makes offhand remarks about getting in trouble with his staff for not following his schedule, or whatever?

“Hollywood for the ugly”. i have heard that

a few politicians (female) are not bad looking. but, in all complex systems there are anomalies

right… which he squandered.

yes. it is. but quite the opposite in reality

that’s the thing about our species isnt it?

everything’s paradoxically opposite of what you’d think or see

lol

“they want me to stop answering questions”

who is “they”?

Do you really think so? What makes you say that? A president certainly has more power than the average person.

When I owned a business and was in charge, I didn’t worry about getting in trouble with my employees. If I wanted to adjust my schedule, I did, and if anyone had given me grief they would be looking for a new job shortly after.

Whoever they are, he could just tell them to ■■■■ off if he wanted to.

It’s just a figure of speech. Nobody on Biden’s staff is punishing him for answering questions or running late.

Bad optics, doesn’t inspire confidence.

a very debatable topic

the president’s powers are severely limited. first thing they teach you in classes about the presidency in college

some here argue they have way too much power which is laughable. esp nowadays that the constitution means nothing…

complex topic

i dunno…

the power of the presidency depends on personality. party, and competency

I didn’t have much confidence to begin with, so :man_shrugging:.

That “staff member” looks familiar . . .
