If it were a Democrat it likely would not have ever come out of the house as articles of impeachment. They would not have voted for it and since they control the house, it would not have even gotten this far. Right?

It puts information out to the public. We are here talking about it. So it does make a difference. We will have to see what the Senators say. I guess I’m not as defeatist as you are. But i get where you are coming from

You’re right that they will acquit. But it won’t be because the glove didn’t fit. The glove fits, and the evidence is already overwhelming. But the spineless cowards in the GOP have decided to place their fealty to a man versus their oath of office and to the Constitution.

And Nebraska my brother…let me ask you this…those of us who do care…what the ■■■■ are we going to do about it? Absolutely Nothing. Are the people in Kentucky who keep electing that nit wit Mitch McConnell going to vote him out. NOPE. Are the Republicans in Congress really going to vote to remove Trump from office? NOPE…So really what’s the point in reading all these texts and transcripts of phone calls. Hell, they will probably never see the light of day in the Senate Trial.

It’s like @Medicswife2002 intimated…we got him now *3!

Yep, and to what @Konssurvative1 said, it’ll be up to the voters in Nov to determine whether Trump gets to go onto a second term or is outed.

For three years there’s been one breathless thread after another and another. ALL with the same assurances of guilt about Trump. Yet this morning’s news–by golly, THIS one is really it!

The political left has become its own joke and I believe that they will pay for their shenanigans come November. Just look at their presidential choices lol…of COURSE they will lie in order to regain power.

And the glove fit OJ too…I’ll never forget they made him try it on in court with a rubber glove on over his hand…They were leather gloves…trying to put a rubber hand in a leather glove. Sure as hell it didn’t fit. But I bet in all reality it did fit.

Yeah that was ridiculous. A prosecution mistake. A very big one.

I feel your frustration my friend. I do.

All I can personally do is remain as informed and educated as possible, learn from these events, warn of their future ramifications, and try to inform as many others as I possibly can. I am also actively registering people to vote. It is in my DNA to be as informed as possible. It is an unending itch that must be scratched.

I understand the hopeless feeling though, given that what we are dealing with is unprecedented betrayal of the nation and its founding principles we both love.

And the Republicans will just keep voting for BS Shenanigans to keep moving forward.

It is a dense argument to claim the Democrats should suffer. Don’t you get it. BOTH SIDES SUCK RIGHT NOW. And the only person who seems to get that is me. Republicans lost their House power and desperately want that back. Democrats want to hold on to that power and gain the Senate. IF that happens it won’t make a bit of difference…Trump will just simply rule by E.O. because congress will allow nothing to get done.

You have no idea the mess both sides have made of this country. Trump didn’t drain the swamp. He has increased it’s size. We now are spending time talking about scum like Lev Parnas and Rudy Giuliliani.

Indeed. And my fear, which I’ve been working on making peace with, is that he will be re-elected.

Right now I give Trump* about a 60% chance of getting re-elected.

It’s the same with Trump…He’s guilty as hell, in my opinion…yet They keep making him try on that leather glove with a rubber glove on underneath. I know you won’t agree with me. And that is fine. They called Clinton Teflon. Trump is some sort of space aged polymer that is better than Teflon. What he is doesn’t even allow things to touch him. Let alone stick.

Sure, I woke up on the wrong side of the ■■■■■■■ political bed this morning, but I am not going to walk away from my pragmatic side. The whole world thinks Trump is guilty and should be impeached…the only people that count is 50 something Senators who will not vote to convict.

That is all.

Luckily, he’s got all those notes, photos and text messages to back him up.

It’s not his. Dems keep squatting, turn around, pick it up and say, “Look what I almost stepped in!!!”

The only hopefullness I have is that last night I heard a report that 4 Republicans were going to vote to allow testimony and vote with the democrats on that aspect of the trial rules. 4 Republicans willing to do what is right. It would take some 20 Republicans willing to do what is right to convict the president.

NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. There aren’t 20 members of congress that have that kind of moral conviction…let alone 20 republicans.

Actually, I already addressed that. Dems have stacked it so high now that the independents can’t see the left’s field of candidates without holding their noses. It’s a turnoff.

He didn’t. Quit assigning shame to people who just don’t believe your tripe.

Nancy tried to steer Schiff away from impeachment. The stew wasn’t thick enough. But the gaggle of hens weren’t having it.

So who would you actually be able to not hold your nose and vote for. Which Democrat should get the Nomination, or who should be in the race already?

Hypothetically of course. Not likely you’d vote for one right?
