Yes cherry pick. I’m sure Norway had dozens of flight a day coming into their country from Wuhan China as Seattle, New York, LA , Chicago, San Fransisco etc.

There are at least a dozen flights available for going from Wuhan to Lisbon at just a quick glance.

That’s just one country. I suspect I’ll find plenty of flights for the other countries as well.

Not to mention all the international travel that goes to and from these countries from other countries that had/have infections.

I did address it. You want to make comparisons for the expense while ignoring what we’re spending it on, why, and what we get for those dollars.

You’re going to have to increase taxes on the lower 2/3 of “earners” exponentially to pay for a Euro/dem/socialist healthcare system similar to theirs in which rationed care is the rule rather than the exception.

So the affordability of the American healthcare system isn’t problematic?

There will be an increase in taxes but you’re taking away health insurance costs (depending on the implementation). I currently have to pay over $16K a year to insure my family and that doesn’t even cover all out of pocket expenses.

My top priority is how good the healthcare system is not how much it costs. I had a couple of serious (IMo) operations in the last 3 years and the Drs and hospital care i had was excellent! I don’t want the european rationed care.

Plus your insurance sounds like Obamacare as expensive as it is.

Before i turned 65 my insurance was about 350 per month for the family plan.

They cut me off at 65 and i pretty much had to go to Medicare and BC/BS supplemental insurance. Once again about 350 per month total.

Our death total has surpassed all other countries, at 20,604.

That’s 3.8%. That percentage is not trending downward as the number of cases increase. It’s trending upward.

Total cases in Spain 163,027 x 7= 1, 141,189.

Total cases in the US 529,740.

Total deaths in Spain 16,606 x 7= 116,242

Total deaths in the US? 20,604

When you make an apples to apples comparison I’d say we’re doing pretty well.
