Thank you for this. That’s a fair take and good information. But this is a long way from claiming there is already a cure, which was what was posited by a certain poster here.

I genuinely am hopeful this can lead to something positive. But I’m also realistic and understand it may be quite some time before we know for certain.

Hence why those programs exist now. Yet, there are some people who would like to eliminate them.

It’s not a cure.

This isn’t the movies where the brave doctor can shoot herself up with an experimental vaccine and everyone is saved.

It’s promising and if subsequent trials go well…it will get expedited approval.

But that is months away.

We are going to spike now.

Remember when we couldn’t magically mass produce ventilators. Now we can magically mass produce a vaccine in 1 month

This isn’t a vaccine.

It’s an anti malarial drug being repurposed as an antiviral.

If it does work and gets approved, we could ramp up production pretty damn fast.
