Because of The Law of Large Numbers.

Most people recovered from the Spanish Flu too.

I amused myself. That’s all that matters.

Awww… cheer up little pup!

No it’s not. Comparing the duration of the illness in patients who took the medication with those who did not will give a very good indication of its efficacy. That is exactly what has been done with the new “miracle” drug Remdesivir.

Yes, we should ignore the entire study of over 1,100 people in France and all the doctors who have cited their own results in favor of your “opinion”.

What is it again you supposedly do in “The Industry”.

If you actually knew anything about medicine you’d understand that doc’s are not stupid and they monitory their patients closely, those who are hospitalized exspecially are constantly monitored.

A doctor can read blood work and see the rapid decline in viral loads and they note changes in the patient’s condition.

These are not “Snake Oil Salesmen/women” nor are they frauds, and Witch doctors trying to fool us with magic.

They are the boys and girls with the degrees and certifications, years, or even decades of training and practice and they know what they are seeing and reporting.

What is it that you do in the industry again making you so much more qualified to comment than they are? Explain in detail.

This from the “Inside Industry Expert” who doesn’t know what a Bronchoscope is, Thinks a vaccine for a corona virus has never been developed except one for chickens that doesn’t work, never realized that Iodine can be used internally much less via either injection or IV, or that we’ve been doing all these things for decades.

Somehow though he’s more qualified than the clinicians and practitioners actually in the trenches because of his self declared, “Insider Industry Knowledge and Expertise” of which there’s zero evidence existing.

I dunno Sam, it’s a real tossup for me.

What exactly is it you supposedly do in “The Industry” again?

Not really when you have the accumulated data of thousands of patients particularly the hospitalized patients who are the sickest of all with the highest number and severity of co morbidity.

When the viral load is cut by half or more with each treatment and they are ruled virus free within
5-7 days you have a damned good idea of why.

How do practioners evaluate whether their patents are getting better or not with a given therapy? How do the decide to move to another approach because the one being used isn’t getting the job done?

How do they make that determination? Do they call for a new controlled study or do they base it on the labs and their observations of the patent’s condition?

What is it you supposedly do in the industry again? Why are you having such a hard time laying it out? You demanded it of me many times so it seems “curious” at best you won’t hold yourself to the same standard.

Stand up on your hind legs for a change and tell us and quit weaseling.

When TDSers began to claim Trump was suggesting a dangerous therapy, I simply googled a few searches.
“Is iodine a disinfectant?”
“Does Iodine kill viruses?”
“Is iodine an essential trace element?”
“Does UV light kill viruses?”

The answers to these quickly showed the TDSers to be quite ignorant of the science relevant to Trump’s musings.

Do you think its a coincidence that the vaccine will be ready for joe biden to take office.

That won’t help Joe. The vaccine is only for COVID-19. It won’t cure Alzheimer’s.

Hell our own forum Caronaviruse “experts” had never even heard of Bronchoscopy and one actually believed you got samples from the deep lungs through by swabbing the nose.

As what? Janitors? Paper shufflers? Our supposed resident paramedic apparently never tubed a patient or heard of Levage.

I mean what the hell? Seriously? And these people pretend to “work in the industry”? :grinning:

One of the best is that we’ve never successfully created vaccines for CV’s when we’ve got literally hundreds of them on the market right now and have since at least the 70’s for the veterinary world.

I’m generally not one to beat up on people but damn, at some point ya gotta call BS on BS.

Not so. Haven’t you heard? They’re only experts when they agree with Trump.

Did Inovio put out that other drug? What was it? Oh yes. Angry Birds.

It will be forgotten before Joe takes office, particularly by Joe who wouldn’t know he was at the WH if someone rolled him into the Oval Office.

Joe’s last trip to the WH was in 2017 and it will remain his last trip.

This is going to shock some of you, but I actually have a Physics degree.
Oh, and I’m a hunter…

See kids, it ain’t that difficult. :upside_down_face:

Some of us don’t have to BS our way through life.

Man up and stand up on your hind legs, if you think you have a case make it.

You did good if you bought that early on :+1:

Well I try to stick to what I know so it’s less of a gamble.

I’m blessed with having a whole lot of friends and family in the industry and have enough education/background/experience of my own not to screw it up too bad.
