“Karen” has been in use for well over a decade now. Those who have worked retail are the ones who came up with it, and the Orange Fantasy Era only made it more popular for the Hate-White-People racists.
A lot of “Karen” incidents at retail involved a photo ID for exchanges/returns. Guess how many women were named Karen and had this haircut?

The poll of registered voters was released December 16, 2019, by the Wason Center for Public Policy. The survey was part of the Wason Center’s annual State of the Commonwealth voter survey on issues before the Virginia legislature.
