There is no requirement to.

Not once have I wished someone a happy Kwanzaa. It’s such a small group that celebrates. Why would a major city mayor feel the need to give a message to those who celebrate it, and not the vast majority of those celebrating Christmas?

Just seems like pandering.

No one requires you to. So it’s all good.

Because she can. She is not required to do any of it.

It is.

She is a politician.

except when they get upset at “merry christmas” im sure

People who get upset at “Merry Christmas” are in the same category of dum dums who get upset at “Happy Holidays”.

Yeah. They are the exact same people

Getting upset at someone wishing you a nice “fill in the blank”.

How small of a person do you have to be to do that?

Same people that get upset for misgender errors. Small indeed.

people dont complain about religion being crammed down their throats when wished “happy holidays.”

but make your equivalents

I am gendered correctly 100% of the time… so I am not sure what it would be like to have people intentionally midge seeing me.

But I can imagine it would be exhausting

Must be a small person to get exhausted that easily.

People have and still do complain about “Happy Holidays” as opposed to “Merry Christmas”.

We call that “The War on Christmas”

his post wasnt about you

And people don’t complain about hearing merry Christmas? Really?

I don’t live that life… so I wouldn’t know.

As for me… asking me to say a certain pronoun when referring to them … generally I just use their name because honestly it is easier…. is no skin off my back and I don’t understand why people resist so hard against it.

They do.

I have said nothing to the contrary.

The people who are offended by Merry Christmas are cut from the exact same cloth as though who are offended by Happy Holidays.

That Christmas cheer expired awfully fast.
