I’m just saying that those who want to succumb or buy into hopelessness don’t have my sympathy.
As far as I am concerned if black Americans want to act like animals then they need to be treated as such as does anyone else regardless of skin color.
Yup - raw numbers that’s right. We treat our white people like ■■■■■ our Latinos like dog ■■■■ and our black people like horse ■■■■■
I think we should highlight all of these more regularly. We’re on par with Mexico and Bangladesh. I’m no expert, but I don’t think there are many rankings we want to be closer to Mexico and Bangladesh than east Asia and Western Europe, unless it’s taco and roti deliciousness.
Should any comparison by race include what the people were doing at the time they were shot by a cop? for instance, in 2019 there were a total of 10 unarmed black people who were shot by cops. What were the rest doing?
Oh, and five of the 10 were in fights with the cops. Of the rest, 2 of the cops were charged.
I have little doubt that some cops have dropped a convenient gun at a shooting. Are we to assume away that they do this all the time and just go on made ups statistics?
Do you take into account that blacks year after year commit over 50% of the murders and 60% of the violent robberies despite being only 13% of the population? And lets be fair its actually 6.5% of the population since nearly all are by males. Much higher criminality means more violent encounters with police. Why the violent crime rate is so much higher could have novels written about it but until the violent crime rate drops to a proportion similar to their population the deadly police encounters will remain high.
does that make it okay for American culture to label black citizen as criminal and thugs?
black American want the same thing as everyone else to be viewed as individual innocent citizens.
Does that make it okay for American culture to label all cops as racist thugs who just want to kill black people? Cops want the same thing as everyone else to be viewed as individual innocent citizens.
There are some racist cops. There are racists everywhere in every profession. But shrugging off the violent crime problem in the black community and instead blaming cops only makes the problem worse. Look at Baltimore. After Freddie Grey and Ferguson the effect on the police was to get them to back off and stop proactive policing in the black communities. The result was a severe spike in the murder and violent crime rate.
As I said a novel could be written about the socioeconomic and historical reasons the violent crime rate in the black community. Much of it involves systemic racism going back centuries. But to deny it exists, as so many on the left want to do, only perpetuates the problem.
No, it doesn’t do that. But it may provide at least a partial explanation of why you would have more black males arrested for a certain crime if more black males committed that certain crime. Yes?
