Don’t know about Republicans, but regarding the culture war, leftists have always controlled the entertainment industry with the exception of old-school Disney Studios when Walt was still alive. I still believe the majority of the population is decent and repulsed by some of the stuff pushed by Hollywood.
The left is pushing for segregation and racial division; it foments destruction in order to bring about change.

Reagan being a democrat didn’t mean he wasn’t highly conservative or that it wasn’t well known, a lot of the industry was. After the passage of CRA, the “party left him” and he became a Republican.
