I will likely have to reconsider the Tennessee Senate race.
I have been saying for a while that this is not a race to sleep on. Bredesen is no joke, and as this poll shows, he has partisan cross-over potential. Plus, as Independents are increasingly favoring a check against Trump, due to his unpopularity with them, it could be enough to push the former Governor into the “W” column.

Yes I remember that. And this poll is interesting for sure.
I looked up Bredesen online and discovered he’s… 74 years old. And he’s running for a job that lasts for six years. 
Don’t politicians ever want to retire like most normal people?
Anyway, I still think Blackburn will win. This is Tennessee after all. And Trump will be there to campaign for her. But if the polling in October still looks like this, I just might change my mind.

Nope. Donald Trump is 72 and ramping up for the 2020 campaign.
I just hope one of the young guns of the democratic party (Harris, booker) lays the wood to him then.
70’s are the new 50’s.
