Alright . . . who leaked our plan to the millenials?
We were supposed to keep this a secret (and there is no way they figured it out on their own)

I’m trying to decide.
Were the 70s really better, or do we just think they were?

You don’t remember the 70s.
You missed a good decade.

I grew up in the 90’s. You have no idea how awesome that was.
Ugh. The only good thing I can think of is the music. What else you got?

You didn’t notice the poster above???
Anyway, sports, movies, cars, talking to real life people, knowing your neighbors names, doing things outdoors
and this
Ooh, cars. I overlooked that. Earlier 70’s though. Later 70’s cars were garbage.

I was pretty young in the 70s.

I haven’t been cool since the grunge era.
But truthfully, at the time I neither knew nor cared if I was cool.
The grunge era was kinda like that.

Imagine everything awesome about childhood in the 70’s and 80’s, and mix that with digital/analog-hybrid technology, arcades that consist of way more than pinball, an unregulated internet, and jeans baggy enough to smuggle in a 7 course dinner to the theaters.
That doesn’t even approach scratching the surface of how awesome coming of age in the 90’s was. It stood proudly on the shoulders of every former Great Decade, and stands firm today as the last Great Decade.

1990s
- Internet wasn’t even a thing until Windows 98 came out.
- MoTown died and was replaced by the most god awful gangsta rap music.
- There was still some good music around, (better than 80s pop music)
- Blood and Crypts were shooting each other, in fact all the crack dealers wer shooting each other
- Skateboards and casts were more common than tattoos and body piercings, (although they were just getting started)
- the counter culture was “goth”
Not too bad as decades go.
What did i forget?
