ZorinOS looks pretty cool. I think I’ll run some tests sometime this week on the new hardware.
Supposedly, my new Alienware laptop hardware will be fine, Mint and Zorin are popular.

Time to check some benchmarks and make final determinations on purchasing the Pro version.
ETA: Benchmarks are all in the 96th percentile. Looks like Linux finally did it.

I made a mint iso image. I am going to wipe out windows entirely. In the past I had boot menu with Kali and Arch. I am going to use the emulator for wow.

I will keep my desktop for now till I see how well the current Linux DAWs works, or switch to the current Reaper. I will not use emulators for my DAW Im sure that would be a mistake. Once i’ve got the laptop ./and I’m happy with it I will wipe out my desktop too.

I have to decide how I want to partition the drive in case I want to put Arch on it instead of Mint. My laptop only has one SSD drive, while my desktop has four SSDs plus plenty of external drives for storage.
I hope I like Reaper as my DAW they already have a linux version
