Universal Soldier

At this height, the temperature dropped to -40°C, covering Peng’s entire body with white ice. Despite the extreme conditions, Peng successfully landed in a valley over 1,000 meters below, relying on his exceptional physical fitness and extensive experience.

The high-altitude locator and temperature sensor inside his paragliding gear recorded the entire flight data. Unintentionally, Peng broke the world record for paragliding without oxygen. This feat also provided first-hand observational data for future research on cumulonimbus clouds.

The cloud dragged him more than 3 miles above his starting altitude!

(Note to self: If I heve take up paragliding, I will not use a high mountain as a launch point!)

My paramotor instructor got sucked into a storm cloud once during a tandem flight with a customer.

Thankfully, the customer was a true thrill seeker and loved every bit of getting spit out at 8,500 ft. My instructor was quietly convinced that they were going to die that day. lol

The paraglider guy in that video won the lottery by surviving that, despite his, “physical fitness and extensive experience.”

At every millisecond, his canopy was in danger of collapsing.

All props to him for making the Weather Channel news. A badass accidental record to achieve in my book.
