Another Trump initiative the TDS blinded morons removed that turned out to be not just a bad decision but damaging to the country.
But of course the lamestreams won’t even mention it.
J’Biden ■■■■■■ up (again) and “oops”. Another pass.
A whole industry of domestically sourced energy got wheelbarrows of government money and capital investment as a result of Biden’s policies. It’s too nitpicky to headline this one pipeline.
Pretty much. His State Department forecasted that no more than 50 jobs would be lost, and he did not really discuss construction jobs (which had been estimated at 7000 plus another 4000 support jobs) even when asked directly about them by the media. All he would acknowledge was that those jobs would be temporary (as all construction jobs are.) So yes, effectively, he lied.
I already posted that. When he was asked about the loss of construction jobs, he blew the question off by dismissing them as “temporary.” Fact: ALL construction jobs are temporary. Yet some people spend their entire careers working in the construction industry. Construction jobs are among the best paid jobs in the country and contribute billions to the economy. Killing Keystone was a serious detriment to the US economy at a time when it really needed a boost.
The jobs listed are temporary, it would be less than 50 full time jobs. As we know, all that temp union labor had plenty of other work.
Keystone is still open like it’s always been during this silliness. XL was a shorter and larger OD.
Transocean has an awful record when it comes to spills.
It’s not oil. It’s dilbit. It goes to Gulf Coast refineries that can handle heavy sour that used to come up from Venezuela, after coking the hell out of it in Wisconsin and leaving behind mountains of heavy metals, arsenic etc. Then it’s almost all destined for China.
None of what you said there changes the fact that killing the Keystone XL project had a significant negative impact on jobs and the economy. And for what benefit? Admit it, Biden ■■■■■■ up.
