Seems to me that the decision to congregate should be with Pastors and his flock with consideration of local circumstances. I don’t believe any Pastor or person WANTS to spread disease, but a one size fits all ruling from the government isn’t right or necessary.

Some businesses are allowed to stay open because they are considered “essential.” Grocery stores for example, yet in my local stores, including Walmart, not only do I see way over 10 or sometimes over 50 people inside, many are not wearing masks or gloves. People still have to pass close by each other, sometimes move carts that someone has parked in the way, not to mention handling items on the shelves that others have handled. If we say that THIS is necessary, then why are hardware stores allowed open? Is that box of nails or bag of top soil really essential right now?

If we trust people to assess the risk to themselves and others to go to Menards for something that really isn’t essential, then why deny people the same latitude in judgement about church? Small congregations especially can sit distances apart and people can (or not apparently) wear masks equally at church as any other place that’s open, they don’t check their common sense at the door.

Out church has remained open for all services. Out Pastor is live streaming, but the doors are open for those who wish to go. MOST people are CHOOSING not to attend, as my wife has several health issues that put her in the high risk category, I have not gone either for the last 3 weeks. Watching a live stream is not the same as I’m sure everyone else who regularly attends their own services would agree.

This is an unnecessary over reach by government. IMO.

I think we should, my dear Brother. Over 1400 years ago, the self proclaimed prophet, Muhammad, who claimed to have receive revelations in a cave.

In 20 short years he united much of the Arab world under the banner of Islam and endorsed the killing or taking of slaves of unbelievers. I have really big problems with his sanctioned the killing Jews, apostates, and other unbelievers.

Why the crusades you ask? Although I cannot condone what the crusades did, it was similar to what Muhammad started. Islam needs a Reformation like the adherents of other religions have.

I think some of the problems come from the conflicts of Caine and Able and more recently the two sons of Abraham, Ishmael and Issac,. Abraham took Issac up the mountain, not Ishmael. Go in peace, my brother.
