Because they probably figured they could stop by their regular polling place- didn’t know that only about 7% of them would be open.

What about independents? Don’t know about Jersey, but in some states they are equal in number to either “major “ party.

That is possible. Early in-person voting was allowed starting two weeks before the election. I think that’s a first for KY. All Kentuckians had the option of voting by absentee ballot.

If it weren’t for those pesky gangs of kids raiding mailboxes and stealing ballots.

Sounds like they were encouraged to vote by mail and were activly participating in it.

We don’t have federal elections each year. I also made the point that the example I cited was typical of most metro electorates. It was the case in 2019 and should be the case in the next federal election most likely to occur in 2022.
