Again, because it’s collective.

So your solution is to keep paying fastfood worker less? Instead of paying teacher more?

Now there is shortage of low skilled workers. They are demanding more $ and i support them. Put your own fries in the basket if it’s so easy. Heck most of you are too lazy and can’t even return the cart to the coral after use.

So, government interference in contracts between collectives is OK, because that somehow makes them not private contracts?

Yes. Kellogg’s is a collective. And a corporation. Are you under the impression that clause is included in Kellogg’s employment contracts with their employees.

If I hire on with Kellogg’s I have to promise not to do my work as a union?

No. That means i don’t have to support them anymore through food stamps or other social programs. Let the employers do that.

No, it means skilled labor will demand more. You think your taxes will go down?

No, that’s not what I’m saying - as you well know.

We’re talking about right to work laws - which you falsely stated do not prohibit terms in “private” contracts.

Now, either you’ve come up with some novel definition of “private contract” that only counts contracts between individuals, or something along those lines - or you’re desperately trying to move the goalposts to avoid admitting you are in favor of the government interfering in contracts between private companies and the organization elected to represent the workers.

It’s not novel.

Of course is it.

A “public” contract includes the government as a party. A private contract does not.

That’s what the terms mean.

Public accommodation laws.

Another goalpost move?

Not at all.

Of course it is.

It’s ok, you can admit it. We all know. You support government interference into private contracts, when it suits you.

Not at all.

Do you support Right to Work laws?

Ummmm. No. My solution is that the fast food worker learn a skill that pays more.

Your solution is an endless cycle of rising labor costs with no increase in productivity or the value that labor brings to the table. It’s a recipe for inflation. It doesn’t help the poor low wage earner.

Necessary evil.

So… you support government interference in contracts between private entities - but only when you personally feel its a necessary evil.

Glad we cleared that up.

I don’t “support” necessary evils. I tolerate them.

I pay like 7 bucks a week. Other than that, nothing else is required of you. Unions aren’t for everyone. That’s why I mentioned rank and file employees.
