You think the media hit pieces started during the hearing? Wrong.
But as I said, no SCOTUS nominee will ever poll very highly. He or she will get almost full support from their party but not many others.
Read it. She wanted the media to contact her. She got contacted by a few and she admits that was what she wanted. Then a post saying she won’t talk to any more media.
She should have left it up for everyone to see and analiyze.

That didn’t stop NBC from running a totally false headline which they still have up, although they “corrected” it in paragraph 8 of this story

They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore. Yesterday CNN, MSNBC and Politico spread around a video that was edited to make it sound like BK was meaning something he clearly wasnt if you heard the entire thing in context. Then of course Liz Warren tweeted the deceptive video.
They are out and out coordinating with Dems and totally shameless about it.

Yep pretty blatant. Liberals have set this up where it would be an attack on all victims if the committee doesn’t do what liberals want. They are holding this committee hostage and yelling out their demands. Pretty sad day in our politics.
I wonder if any of these people who are calling him a rapist without any evidence and spreading around fake news and smears give a second’s thought to the fact he has a family? He’s got two young girls, but they aren’t so young they won’d know what is going on.
They are destroying his entire reputation with nothing more (so far at least) than a single accusation that has no corroborating evidence and has discrepancies. Three of the men alleged to have been at the party deny it.
But none of that matters. They don’t care that this will do lasting damage to him, even if he’s confirmed.
It is absolutely despicable. I have never seen a sleazier political hit job than this one.

Yeah. Due process has no meaning anymore. Abraham Lincoln said it best a house divided will not last. Democrats, especially those in power, should ponder on that and stop this rhetoric from influencing politics.
They are doing it for their base. There is evidence of it right here, with posters parroting their talking points and saying BK is guilty.
Anyway, Grassley is more or less telling Dems to put up or shut up now. Good for him. They should give Ford every opportunity to show up on Monday, and if she doesn’t then schedule the vote. Grassley has been more than accommodating, even offering to fly staff out to CA to interview her if she doesn’t want to fly to DC. And Feinstein apparently still hasn’t shared the letter with Grassley. He found out about it from the media.
Dems are not acting in good faith. This is a political hit job, it’s as simple as that.
