Kate Bush, Missy Elliott, and Willie Nelson Among the Newest Inductees to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Kate Bush, Missy Elliott, and Willie Nelson are among the newest inductees to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced today.

I’m happy that The Spinners are finally inducted. I’m disappointed that Cyndi Lauper and New Order/Joy Division weren’t inducted this year, but there’s always next time

Iron Maiden didn’t make it. Booooo!

MAIDEN singer Bruce Dickinson made headlines in 2018 when he referred to the Rock Hall as “an utter and complete load of bollocks” during a spoken-word gig in Australia, insisting that the Cleveland-based institution is “run by a bunch of sanctimonious bloody Americans who wouldn’t know rock and roll if it hit them in the face.”

Sure, but it’s important to ME!

I would consider it a badge of honor to not make it in considering bands like Iron Maiden and Bad Company are not, but acts like Missy Elliott, Eurythmics, and the Go-Go’s are.

Everytime I voted for Kate Bush, it felt like it could never happen. This time the song in Stranger Things, caused a lot of hipsters to know who she is.
