She has to get past the primary first. Odds are it will morph into a more traditional tax cut if she makes it to the general.

In California, $75,000.00/year may not be much but in other places around the country, you’ll live very well. If the cost of living in California is so expensive, then either move or the tax credit should be against their state taxes owed. It should NOT come from federal taxes.
A single person earning 50,000 will pay over 5,000 federal tax.
Her proposal is in part for people making less than 50k, not just people making 50k, so how much does someone making 10k a year pay in federal income taxes? There is a reason it’s called a tax credit and not a tax cut.

Call it what you want to, the government has the money that you’ve paid in all year.
Harris must be very wealthy to have the money to give this out.

If the senate originally would have read the bill before signing it. Oh wait! That takes time, effort, intelligence, and wisdom, which is something not given out at Harvard or any other Ivy league skrewl. To first do away with Hospitals as non profits or force them to take preexisting conditions for treatment to keep the status. Otherwise the tax goes to the insures to pick up the pre-existing conditions.
