They’d have to be pretty ignorant to think that the DNC wants or plans to institute policies that would make the US like Venezuela. If they are that ignorant then it really is important for Harris to reach out to assure them that the DNC isn’t planning to nationalize the oil industry or rewrite the constitution so that the president can become president for life.

I think they implemented policy that failed and then blamed the right and increased persecution because they can’t believe their policy fails… And that’s what would happen here. Dems already use words like “irredeemable”. That does not sound like they are open minded…

No… but that’s irrelevant because Biden/Harris aren’t pushing to enact the policies like what was enacted in Venezuela. There is no plan to nationalize the oil industry, there’s no plan to massively ramp of social spending using money from a single volatile industry, there’s no plan to amend the Constitution so as to consolidate power into the hands of the Biden/Harris administration.
Defunding and delegitimizing the police is a good start.
Obama didn’t run on Obama care, but it was almost the first thing he did.
