nope, that’s not what it means.

what it means is, “it came up, but I don’t believe I pressured him about it”.

now, define “pressured”

bottom line is his answer was equivocal. not necessarily a lie.

you should have been less specific in your question. the child did not lie.

On the FBI’s “understanding” of the call. Was the FBI “understanding” different from Flyn’s “understanding” of the call. Two people can have a different interpretation of a phone call. Remember, the two FBI guys put in their report no indications Flyn was lying.

So if Flyn had a different “understanding” of how the call went – and his statement was consistant with that “understanding” . . . . did he lie?

lol… Flynn did nothing wrong talking to the russians. it is exactly what he should have been doing.

Not really still means you did something… but in your mind it was something slightly different than what is being asked.

The correct answer should of been the truth… “Yes, I did something”

And in context to his “understanding” of the call.

says you. too bad.

you don’t get to choose how other people answer questions.

A lot could be cleared up if the transcript of the call was declassified.

But he was fired for saying the same lie to the Vice President.

Why is Mike Flynn the hill that Cons want to die on lol. I don’t get it.

That is like the same argument that is used to rationalize that Ben Kenobi didn’t lie to Luke in a New Hope about Vader killing his father.

It is silly and only works if one is willing to buy into the lie themselves.

false

he was untruthful with the vp. that is neither unlawful nor have they made up a crime to cover it. for that, he should have been fired, and was.

Of course he did something wrong.

He lied about it because he knew it was wrong.

As I said… President Elect Trump could have done it publicly with a tweet… gotten the same result and there wouldn’t have been a problem.

untruthful = lying.

he did not lie. you saying that doesn’t change that. “not really” is not a lie.

yes, but not “the same lie”. that part you made up.

Of course it is a lie.

He even pled guilty of it… twice. He got fired for it.

The dude lied.

Vice President Elect Pence went on to unknowingly repeat the lie that Flynn told him.

That used to be considered a bad thing to put a Vice President in a position like that.

again you’re just wrong. what he told the vp is completely different from what he told the fbi.

and no, its not a lie.

And Trump considering bringing him back into his administration

You can’t make this up

and he was fired for that, as he should have been. that has nothing to do with what he answered to the fbi
