Expanding it seems like it will end up with 1000 judges dialing in their votes on their phones like a game show. I’m not sure what a good solution is, it’s just too much of a coveted partisan prize to be seen as above it all.

No, it has an end and it’s nowhere near a thousand. Hugo Chavez only had to expand it to 32 to reach a tipping point where he could gain total control. It was expanded more afterwards, but that is what put him over the edge.

Not saying that at all and I don’t think Biden would do what Chavez did, but neither can we have a situation where he could, or any other president. At the moment I’m thinking we need to freeze it at nine permanently.

Already outlined the only fair way to do it if necessary. Add one per Presidential term starting with the next term.

Kind of, in the same way you might suggest he wants to take all our guns. He doesn’t, but he may be a stepping stone to that end with the restrictions he does want.

I remember well when Chavez pulled his first big stunt with their scotus. It was pretty clearly the beginning of the end to me, and that makes it interesting how you describe their faith in their constitution.

Jbiden will gladly confiscate every gun in this country if he feels it will stop one mass shooting and restore order.
