Just Something Simple?

Since you already believe all these things, AND you believe political correctness is for the birds, what’s to stop you from saying all these things?

What do you care what people think?

I’m proud to be straight.

and no, I don’t hate anyone, just because they’re gay.

I want to legally be 25 on paper. You still never answered my question did you?

I want to identify as a 25 year old legally.
Should I be able to or not?

Rachel Dozer got to be black legally, even though she was born white.

Should people be able to change their legal identity Simply because they “Feel” like it or not?

I mean, if you’re all about Equality, wouldn’t it only be “Fair” to do so?

What does it mean to be “legally” black?

But you don’t want people to identify as gay, because doing so is politically correct and the premise of this thread is to end political correctness.

Is that accurate? If not please set the record straight.

I say these things, because I care what people think. :smirk:

Oh the drama!

Really?

Up until the Democrat Politicians allowing Dozer to change her ethnicity,
legally white, legally black or legally any ethnicity meant
that you were legally Born that Ethnicity.

Of course now, the Democrats seem to want to change laws.
Did that older guy ever get to legally change his age?

This isn’t rocket science.

There is a huge difference between being Politically Correct simply to get votes,
and to do what is morally and Ethically right, and also what is right for this country.

What the Democrat Politicians do is “Politically Correct”.

To call all legal Citizens in America, Americans I think would be what would
be right for this country, and would help unify us.

I can’t spell it out any more plainly for you, than this.

You can thank the Democrat Politicians for making things
Politically Correct, for the drama.

Hollywood is very dramatic. Let’s ask them, what they think?

Why does acknowledging both one’s past and their present bother you so much?

This still doesn’t address the question what it means to be “legally” black or any other ethnicity? There is no such thing.

It doesn’t.

The past makes you who you’re today.

As long as you’re happy where you’re at in life, a person had to make past
mistakes to get where he or she is at in the present.

So if someone identifies as Asian American, aren’t they simply acknowledging the roots of their family’s lineage, which helped mold them into the person they are today?

Legally I’m Caucasian , because I was born Caucasian.

When you file your taxes what checkbox do you mark under ethnicity?

On your birth certificate does it say that you’re Caucasian?

So you want to eliminate our freedom to identify as something more than simply as “American”?

4th dimensional irony here. Good job.

Where you come from, and who you’re today are two different things.

I’m Irish and German, but you don’t see me going around saying, I’m an Irish American.
Or I’m a German American. No, cause I’m just an American, just like any other American citizen.

am I proud of my heritage? yes. But I was born in America, not Ireland, so I’m an American with past heritage of Irish, and German. Even if someone isn’t born here, once they get here they become an American citizen, legally hopefully.

That is one thing that we share in common as Americans. We’re not Irish Americans, or German Americans, or African Americans. Things like that divide Americans.
We’re simply just Americans. United together hopefully, if the Democrat Politicians would stop trying to divide us.

Why do you think that the Democrat Politicians make sure that those labels in front of the term “American” exist? It’s because they want it too! It helps them divide All Americans.

What tax form asks your ethnicity? I don’t remember ever seeing that.

That’s cool. No one is asking you to call yourself anything. We respect that about you. Is it not mutual?
