The trillion dollar question is just how many Americans have actually died from COVID. We know that over 800,000 who have died since last January 2020 are know to have been infected with COVID, but how many of those 800,000 actually died from the infection? This is a very important question because right now every one of those deaths is attributed to COVID, and used to determine the mortality rate for the virus. That mortality rate is what government uses to justify its actions and mandates. Someone with a long history of heart disease and congestive heart failure, advanced COPD, advanced dementia, advanced terminal cancer, or long on dialysis for diabetes induced kidney failure, or with a history of strokes and blood clots, or in an fatal accident, or the victim of violent assault. Are all being tested upon entering a hospital, and if found to have COVID and then dying are being counted, even though the cause of death in many cases is the existing disease or trauma.

The CDC can’t answer the question.

CDC Director Walensky fails to disclose how many deaths were ‘from’ COVID-19: ‘Data will be forthcoming’

I have no doubt that the numbers are inflated as I’m aware of anecdotal accounts of people in different health care related positions who have said as much. Just how much they are inflated is the question?

You guys are not aware that there has been a massive amount of excess deaths (more deaths than would be expected based on pre-pandemic death rates) and if anything, the number of deaths due to covid are being uncounted?

Nationwide, nearly 1 million more people have died in 2020 and 2021 than in normal, pre-pandemic years, but about 800,000 deaths have been officially attributed to COVID-19, according to the CDC data. A majority of those additional 195,000 deaths are unidentified COVID-19 cases, public health experts have long suggested, pointing to the unusual increase in deaths from natural causes.

Wavis Jordan, a Republican who was elected last year to serve as coroner of the 80,000-person county, says his office “doesn’t do COVID deaths.” He does not investigate deaths himself, and requires families to provide proof of a positive COVID-19 test before including it on a death certificate.

I guess increased suicide rates, massive increases in overdose deaths and increased deaths from crime don’t count.

Not due to suicide

If is down that is a good thing. But you million extra deaths number seems bee out of step with death reporting, vs expectationd 2020-2021.

Excess mortality: Raw number of deaths from all causes compared to projection based on previous years, United States

Each one of the points on that graph in your link represents how many deaths there were each week in 2020 and 2021 and you can see how much higher that is than the number of deaths projected for 2020 based on how many deaths there were from 2015 to 2019. At the peaks there are weeks where there were 20-25,000 excess deaths. That’s per week.

You can see on their cumulative excess death chart that the estimate is that there are over 1 million excess deaths.

“Nearly 841,000 people have died since 1999 from a drug overdose.1 In 2019, 70,630 drug overdose deaths occurred in the United States. The age-adjusted rate of overdose deaths increased by over 4% from 2018 (20.7 per 100,000) to 2019 (21.6 per 100,000).” https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.cdc.gov/drugoverdose/deaths/index.html&ved=2ahUKEwinuYjA26b1AhWczDgGHU8jCj0QFnoECAQQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1gCMZQBgg-J_6S6UFK21y4

841,000 - 70,630 = 770,370 deaths more than in 2019. How many of those extra 0.75 million deaths are from the Democrats’ lax border control of drug trafficking of their CCP aliies’ fentanyl.

“The agency’s Uniform Crime Report will be published Monday and preliminary data temporarily uploaded to the FBI website showed approximately 21,500 homicides last year — about 5,000 more than the previous year, according to a report in The New York Times. The overall homicide rate, however, is still lower than that of the 1990s.”

How many of these 5000 extra deaths are due to Democrat stoking of violence?

Then there are deaths caused by democrats sending infected patients into nursing homes.

Covid-19 May Have Increased Nursing Home Deaths By Nearly One-Third

Washington State Health Officials Give Update On Coronavirus Cases In Seattle Area, After First Death Reported
SEATTLE, WA – FEBRUARY 29: Healthcare workers[+]GETTY IMAGES
How bad was the covid-19 pandemic for nursing homes residents? A new government study finds that 40 percent had the virus, or probably did. About 169,000 more Medicare residents died in the pandemic year of 2020 than in 2019, an increase in the overall death rate of about 32 percent. And in April 2020, about 1,000 more Medicare residents were dying every day than in April 2019."

How many of those 169,000 extra deaths are due to Democrat/Fauci policies discouraging early intervention therapeutics and mandating infected patients be placed in nursing homes and mandating people stay cooped up in incubators instead of going outside into the sunlight and fresh air?
