It took a while, about a month, but closed last Friday. Didn’t get all we wanted because our appraisal was under what the mortgage company estimated, but we still got a great deal.
Dropped our payment $200 a month and went from 4.25% to 2.875% interest.
I think you should look into doing one if you have equity.
