Agreed, I figured this didn’t happen the way everyone assumed which is why I didn’t say anything. Lay it on this fool. He should have kept his mouth shut.

Personally, I thought it was done by someone who thought it would be funny. Given that the area was not accessible to anyone outside of NASCAR from the day before the race, some pissed off redneck fan mad about having to leave his rebel flag at home knowing who was going to be assigned to that garage was extremely unlikely.

He considered the act of placing a noose in an African American’s personal space to be racist. Which it is. Considering the information he was given, his reaction was valid.
