I’m not surprise you would be confused, as the media works hard to confuse people. It was under reported initially.

The IRS paid off 427 groups of recently.

You have to work real hard on Google to find the number of lib groups held up by the IRS for “extra scrutiny”, as it was very few, but all articles mention it as thought it was in some way equivalent which is was not even close.

The Dems didn’t have nearly as many of these groups as the Rs. The ones they did have, did not contain the keywords that were used by the Rs. There is no doubt that the Tea Party and R groups were targeted, but the conspiracy theory that was being pushed and still is today did not exist. Many people wanted to prove that Obama had ordered this or this was some directive from the Administration. When you look into it, the idea was suggested by a McCain staffer.
