There seems to be a pattern here when it comes to Trump not wanting things that ostensibly based on his own words would support his position to be available to the general public. Could the reason be that in reality they would show that what he has said is not the truth?
Odd that NBC left out another way the Federal Court could regain juristiction. That would be by the Committee asking New York for the taxes.
“Mr. Trump has also not demonstrated that jurisdictional discovery is warranted. Mr. Trump may renew his claims against the New York Defendants should future events trigger one or more provisions of the D.C. long-arm statute, and he may, of course, sue either New York Defendant in another forum (presumably in New York).”
So at any time, Trump is allowed to re-file the case in federal court, then the court would have juristiction over the case.
Now THIS is funny in the op’s
Nichols also ruled that Trump did not sufficiently establish a conspiracy between the House Ways and Means Committee and the New York defendants, which would have strengthened his case for the lawsuit to be heard in Washington. Trump had argued that New York officials were “co-conspirators” with Democrats in Washington, and thus the Washington court had jurisdiction.
“But nowhere in his Amended Complaint does Mr. Trump allege the existence of a conspiracy; in fact, the word ‘conspiracy’ does not even appear in his pleadings,” Nichols wrote.
Wait what?
Judge says the word conspiracy didn’t appear in the complaint filed with the court, but the judge says sorry a conspiracy doesn’t exist???
How the hell do you make a leap to something not in the filings with the court???
If the next thing you say is “Had Obama chosen to never release his tax I would’ve been perfectly fine with that and respected his privacy”, then, yeah, I’ll say you actually believe that.
Not just a crime. We want to break him down after he leaves office so that he will rue the day he ever thought to give it a go. He wiill spend the rest of his life in the courts if not jail
