Immigration laws are set up by congress to allow in a certain number of people per year following agreed to rules. There are laws and regulations for vetting each of these people, who apply for their status based on our laws.
If a President is allowed to randomly bring in for permanent residency however many and whoever he wants, then what is the purpose of those negotiated upon and voted on immigration laws?
We lose the right of the people to elect a congress to negotiate our laws when a rogue President allows this to happen.
Granting over half million illegals “parole” carte Blanche on a whiz bang EO to stay in this country was a dumb ■■■■ idea.
Now, regardless how anyone thinks or feels, this administration is stuck with them and the activists hell bent on keeping them here.
It’s all bull ■■■■■
I’m all for higher wages, but they are inflationary, so I’m not sure why Trump, who ran on bringing prices down, would be taking moves that are infaltionary.
If these workers make widgets for 10/hr, they all get sent home and the widget owner has to pay 15/hr to replace them, the cost of widgets is going up.
The left doesn’t get in the global west apparently that the right wants this type of media coverage, and the topic of migration. If they really wanted to win they would pivot to healthcare and American manufacturing at home. Social benefits for citizens etc…
Not sure how many Trumps, AFD’s, national rally, Sweden democrats, Orbans, Party of freedom Netherlands etc etc immigration is a losing lesson after mass migration they need but by all means keep fighting the right on migration.
It’s kind of like abortion I remember when the Supreme Court did that I was like ■■■■■ This is going to haunt the GOP for decades. For the left immigration is their restrictive abortion vote.
