Just a reminder - the Haitians are here legally.

Springfield INVITED THEM TO COME because there weren’t enough workers to satisfy the businesses the town courted to revitalize itself.

“As these numbers dramatically pick up, there’s some obligation for the federal government to help local communities who had nothing to do with the decision about people coming in, but now find themselves with a massive number of people,” DeWine said

Dumping a bunch of poor people from a different country into a small town does not “revitalize” it:

Springfield’s Mayor Rob Rue, who’d been cautiously optimistic about the arrival of Haitians, is now gob smacked at the strain they’re placing on the town: “The infrastructure of the city—our safety forces, our hospitals, our schools—Springfield is a close community and has a big heart, but at the same point, we’ve had this influx that has taxed all these services,” he said.
