As far as I can tell, Trump has had a grand total of 1 solo press conference since becoming president. Obama had 17 in his first two years. Until Trump musters the guts to do more, it’s pointless to compare.

So he’s had 5 solo press conferences in his first two years. Does that make you feel better? I gave links to what I was using as my sources and even stated it was to the best of my knowledge.
The point of this part of the discussion was how well Trump fares with the press versus Obama. Should we take a look at the transcripts and see how they’ve done? You should have three times the ammo as Obama had done over three times the solo press conferences by this time in his presidency.
If only there was one shred of proof to this.
