Based on Ted Cruz’s book Justice Corrupted, he and some other Senators were about to make a motion to audit the votes just before the chaos began that scared the wits out of the Congressional members so when they reconvened, Cruz lost support from other Senators.

It was no secret, so I absolutely believe it was well-planned by the Dems to make sure that motion was never made by inciting anger from the protestors outside and initiate the emergency.

That’s an interesting theory. I wonder if any independent investigative journalists are pursuing it. At very least it would make a good movie plot.

The problem is, nothing that was prevented from happening on January 6th would have overturned the election. Things might have gotten a lot messier, but Trump would not have remained in office and balmy Joe would still have been inaugurated.

I think a lot of people have read too much Tom Clancy and seen too many action/conspiracy movies.

With normal politics as usual, it is expected that each party will push boundaries to further their political agenda.
