Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) is not running for re-election in 2026

2026 Senate elections were always going to be a tough battle for Democrats and they just got a bit tougher.

Three incumbent Democratic senators are now not running for re-election

In New Hampshire especially, GOP feels like they have an outstanding shot to pick up a seat if Chris Sununu decides to run.

In addition, GOP is probably feeling somewhat bullish in being able to flip Jon Ossoff’s GA seat if Brian Kemp challenges him whereas Dems best chance to flip a GOP seat is probably Susan Collins in ME or Tillis in NC.

Early prediction is probably 55-45 split favoring Republicans in the Senate in 2027.

dimocrats are handing their old bags their bags.

My prediction is that what’s left of the dimocrat party will nominate some far-left, two-spirit, transgender, devil worshipping, America-hating, abortion loving psycho as the nominee in each of those races.

And the media will help them win 2 out of the 3.

It really makes you wonder how much of a hassle these libs are getting from their constituents back home for their idiotic views that truly hurt?

Fair assessment.

As it stands right now the Dems chance of taking back the senate in 2026 is virtually zero. And as you noted there’s even a chance of the Republicans picking up two more seats.

republicans gain 20 seats after winning all senate elections and many lifelong dimocrats defect to republican party in last-ditch effort to retain some semblance of power.

:joy::crazy_face:. Yes. This. Every day. :joy:
