Talarico hoping Paxton wins in the runoff to pull some independents in the election. Wonder if Trump will endorse Paxton or not.
Regardless, the GOP is going to end up spending A LOT of money in Texas when they should be spending money elsewhere. But that’s where the GOP is in 2026, spending tons of money on a senate race that shouldn’t even be close.

i think both will stay in no matter where the endorsement goes, so lots of fun ahead. It’s not like Paxton has a job to go back to, they just voted on his party replacement in the same election.

Trump should really stay out of it but he won’t. If he endorses Cornyn, there will be some MAGA that will sit out the general since Paxton is a MAGA darling.
And there’s no way Paxton just walks away if he doesn’t get the endorsement.
