J’Biden to spend $36 BILLION to bail out union pensions

So my question is as follows:
Union membership requirements include contributing to pension funds through “dues” payments.
So why in the ■■■■ do the unions need federal TAX dollars to subsidize their pensions?
WHERE DID THE DUES MONEY GO??

We should be phasing out defined benefit pensions. And while I don’t support this bailout, it should have come with the condition that the pension plan would be phased out for new hires.

It’s vote buying, no more, no less.

Democrats have finally learned to politic again with laser-guided rust belt spending. Beautiful. I hope the Whitehouse already has their tweet drafts ready to attack critics with PPP hypocrisy.

Exactly. Dems are great at vote buying and using our money (taxpayers) to do it.

Democrats don’t need no stinkin’ Constitution to make appropriations legal.

Under what authority can our president spend money not appropriated by Congress for said spending?

I think some are saying covid relief omnibus thingy.

Of course there was no enumerated power covering that.

Unions and their outrageous demands and benefits, which are added to the cost of union manufactured goods, are responsible for almost half of our countries manufacturing base to leave the United States. But they are a reliable vote for our thieving Democrat Party Leadership.

The excuse is that workers had earned these pensions. Not true. They earned the pensions that were somehow wasted, the taxpayers overall earned any federal funds that are being given away.

And it would be a criminal and misappropriation of federal revenue.

Almost everything the federal currently does is that.

And the Republican and Democrat party Leadership are in on the plundering of the people’s federal treasury.

Since the days of Me Too Republicans and before.

Mr No Repeal Eisenhower could have saved us from the financial ruin we are facing and at minimal cost … but he didn’t and rubber stamped FDR era lawlessness instead.

Ya think?

He doesn’t and like his student loan “forgiveness” vote buying scheme, will no doubt be struck down in the courts.
Unless there are Republicans compromised by the unions? No way J’Biden gets the money.
