A “better and more healthful life” includes art, music, literature, and films that are provocative, challenging, ennobling, true, beautiful, sublime, serious, fun, puzzling, and polysemous.

McNaughton’s work (and he’s been at this for years now) is the sad agitprop of those with impoverished and authoritarian imaginations. It’s indistinguishable in its aesthetic from those idealized portraits of the Kim family also included in this thread. It will largely live on as unself-aware kitsch, if it lives on at all.
