Rep. Doug Collins unloaded on House Democrats’ latest impeachment push Thursday; saying their “behind-closed-door” efforts to remove President Trump from office is “unprecedented and un-American.”
“Conducting an impeachment investigation behind closed doors isn’t just unprecedented—it’s un-American. It doesn’t afford due process, and it’s not what we’re about,” Collins told Fox & Friends.

Collins joins his Republican colleagues in their fierce criticism of the Democrats’ impeachment effort.
Representatives Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz ripped Adam Schiff’s latest move to impeach President Trump from the Capitol Tuesday; calling his committee a “Kangaroo Court” and labeling the Intel Chair as “Captain Kangaroo.”
“What we see in this impeachment is a kangaroo court, and Chairman Schiff is acting like a malicious Captain Kangaroo,” said Gaetz.

President Trump made similar comments Tuesday morning regarding the Democrats’ obsession with his 33-minute phone call with the leader of Ukraine.
“I would love to send Ambassador Sondland, a really good man and great American, to testify, but unfortunately he would be testifying before a totally compromised kangaroo court, where Republican’s rights have been taken away, and true facts are not allowed out for the public to see. Importantly, Ambassador Sondland’s tweet, which few report, stated, ‘I believe you are incorrect about President Trump’s intentions. The President has been crystal clear: no quid pro quo’s of any kind.’ That says it ALL!” posted the President on social media.
