Really, I realize you go into a fit over the least nothing when it comes to Trump, but surely you realize that a President’s job is to see that the right experts are in the jobs and to see that they have the needed resources that they request. Presidential candidates are not questioned about their knowledge of hurricanes.

Are you confident in Trump’s ability to hire the right experts and put them in the right jobs?

Seems to me somewhat false accounting to attribute expenses which would have occurred anyway anywhere to his being at some particular place. Maybe it’s just the extra cost of fuel and a pilot, with the rest being paid for whether he went golfing or not. Do you have any honest figures?

The difference between being at the WH or at one of his resorts/golf clubs is that the latter are commercial businesses (like any hotel) that charge guests (including staff/staffers/secret service agents/others) for rooms , meals, golf fees, cart rentals, etc.

Any costs to the taxpayer, when he is at the WH, are not going into his pocket, as opposed to when he is at one of his properties.

Yes, there were times, the amount of money spent on state trips pissed me off. Particularly when he and the first lady took separate jets to the same place. There is no reason for that.

There are always going to be things like that, that piss me off. It’s careless spending because they feel they are more entitled than us peasants. Just like when these guys get in office and suddenly they are millionaires on a salary that does not support that.
