There is no doubt that the US would be able to best Iran militarily. But looking at the past couple of decades of war and occupation in the Middle East, the criticism of stumbling into a war with Iran is one of if it is of any value to the US

I don’t like to second guess too much. But I wonder why the captain would fly under these conditions? It was clearly an unsafe environment. To me it would have made more sense to wait a day or two to see what happens. This isn’t the first time this has happened…
