If only the Nazis would capitulate, that would stop.
For years we were told that anyone who walked with neo-Nazis was one himself. Even if you repeatedly denounced them you were smeared as a supporter. That lie was the basis of the Biden campaign.
In Canada the appearance of a Swastika or a Confederate flag in large rally of trucker supporters meant everyone there was a white supremacists and lost their civil rights. Ironically the Deputy Prime Minister Freeland, who led the charge against the truckers, speaks fluent Ukrainian and was active with Ukrainian nationalists when she studied in Ukraine. Her Ukrainian grandfather was a Nazi collaborator.
We have real fascists using pretext of fascism to institute their own fascist policies. Fascists are cool again, but only if they are the right kind of fascists.

They are far right in Eastern Europe and Ukraine. They do have influence, they are not in charge though. I guess the thing to worry about if they are about the far right is if things got real bad in the war and they some how seized power, they tried in euromaiden but did not have the numbers and failed.
Stepan Bandera is a complicated figure in the Ukraine. The odd thing is they were much worse in terms of nazi collaborators in higher positions than Bandera who sat most of world war 2 in prison. Granted if he was celebrated in the west the ones celebrating would be labeled nazis.
Maybe in the Ukraine some are ignoring the OUN group he was in and are focusing on his calls for a free Ukrainian state. Itās an interesting topic if those are unfamiliar on who he was Wikipedia has a decent wright up on him and why he is a controversial figure.

Yes, they have been killing plenty of ethnic Russian civilians in Ukraine. They have been doing that since 2014 with the support of NATO with virtually zero coverage in western media.

Since then the Azov Battalion has taken control of the city. Here is their 2016 military parade through the city displaying US-supplied equipment.
Dozens of Russian-speaking civilians were killed when mobs of Ukrainian nationalists trapped them inside a burning building in Odessa in 2014.
