The gun itself is a tool, an inanimate object, designed for violence. A person might choose to put holes in inanimate objects, of course, just as a person with a grenade, another inanimate object that is designed for violence, can decide to blow up dirt.

Despite your condescending tone, I’ll answer your question, but if that tone continues, I won’t. I don’t suffer that sort of attitude from anybody for long.

I don’t know what would happen if all of the firearms in the country were confiscated. I can only guess.

My safest guess is that violent crime caused by firearms would plummet, despite the efforts by amateurs in backyard machine shops trying to keep up with the prior production levels of domestic gun companies.

Get rid of machetes and no one will be killed by a machete. Rather a simple concept. What seems to be a difficult concept for some to grasp is: get rid of machetes and an alternate mean will be found. Problem not solved.

I don’t enjoy the fruits of anyone’s labor but my own. My life, my responsibility. I live in the present.

When I see the statues of Confederates I see history. I no more want to topple them then I do the pyramids which were built with slave labor.
