Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez escalated her war-of-words with the White House Thursday evening; saying it was Congressional lawmakers’ “responsibility” to investigate ‘obstruction of justice’ charges against the President.

“Mueller’s report is clear in pointing to Congress’ responsibility in investigating obstruction of justice by the President. It is our job as outlined in Article 1, Sec 2, Clause 5 of the US Constitution. As such, I’ll be signing onto @RashidaTlaib’s impeachment resolution,” tweeted Ocasio-Cortez.

The left-wing legislator’s comments come just hours after Attorney General William Barr released hundreds of pages of Robert Mueller’s final report; confirming the special counsel found “no evidence” that any Americans worked with foreign officials during the 2016 election.
